CASHEW MILK

Sick of added sugars and gums in your milks? Cashew Milk is probably the easiest milk to make on your own. It doesn’t require any straining - making the entire process quick and clean!

I love cashew milk because it is very creamy. Cashews are high in healthy fats and Vitamin E. Since you don’t strain the milk, you hold on to all of the nut’s benefits!

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup organic raw cashews

  • 5 cups filtered water (+ additional water to soak cashews)

  • Flavors of choice: cinnamon, vanilla extract, coconut sugar, sea salt, honey, dates, matcha powder, cacao or any other flavoring you see fit! I used 1/2 tsp cinnamon, a pinch of sea salt and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • High speed blender

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Soak cashews overnight in water or for at least 7 hours

  2. Strain and rinse cashews after soaking

  3. Add to high speed blender with 5 cups filtered water and flavors of choice

  4. Blend on high for 1 minute until everything turns into milk

  5. Store in refrigerator and use within 5 days
