Teriyaki Steak Power Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 Grassfed New York steak (or any steak of choice)

  • 2 Tbs @traderjoes Coco aminos 

  • 1 tsp low sodium soy sauce 

  • 1/2 Tbs minced garlic

  • 1 tsp organic honey 

  • Red chili flakes

  • 1/4 red bell pepper

  • 1/4 yellow bell pepper

  • 1/4 red onion 

Sides:

  • Handful raw spinach 

  • Basmati rice

Directions:

  1. Mix coco aminos, soy sauce, honey, garlic, red chili flakes and black pepper together.

  2. Slice meat into bite size pieces and marinade for 15 minutes in sauce.

  3. Sautée red and yellow bell pepper and red onion in oil for 5-7 minutes on low.

  4. Add steak and sauce into pan and cook an additional 2-4 minutes.

  5. Serve with basmati rice and spinach.
